I wish I had an answer for you. Some of these rescues annoy me endlessly. For both of my dogs, I had to fill out a 10-15 page questionnaire. As for my Lab/Australian Shepherd, they will reject me because I don’t have a fence in the yard my previous dog died very early it was a 14-year-old 100lb black lab and it wasn’t long enough. Luke’s time passed and I was looking for another dog. So they intended to put a 9-month-old dog in a barn at a foster farm for those reasons. Luckily, I was able to find out who had the dog and contact them directly. I’m ready to drive 12 hours one way to Mace. Their tune changed when they realized they were going to miss out on money. I applied my APBT as a gift to a friend. Of course, I didn’t tell them that. We want a Border Collie Black Lab mix that the Scooter is advertised as.
If it involves book count me in coffee book paw dog shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt
They were concerned that my Lab Australian Shepherd, who was 11 years old at the time, would harm the puppy. The mace is perhaps the most agreeable creature on the planet. Nothing bothers this dog, I don’t mean anything, in its 12 years I’ve only seen him leave his teeth 9 times. Scooter was separated from his mother too early. He has many problems that can be related to this separation and sooner or later. They tried to vaccinate him for rabies 2 months early. Luckily, they couldn’t find a vet to do it. Turns out the Scooter is the furthest thing from the Border Collie/Lab you can get – it’s an APBT/Chow/German Shepherd combination. I was able to get him. He is not well taken care of. He was so underweight, had some crazy parasites, luckily it wasn’t parvo and was covered in feces when I picked him up.
