Each cat is an individual, but couples of the opposite sex tend to get along well. Has the kitten disabled? That greatly reduced aggression and territorialism. Usually, a healthy and safe adult cat will be fine with a kitten. Watch them carefully, but if you see the older cat acting the way its parents do .. grooming, cuddling, teaching … then everything will be fine. And yes, male cats often support and comfort their kittens. I’ve even seen a giant enduring black-haired boy who allows every kitten to be cuddled and cuddled up to, even trying to suckle.

He’s as gentle as any mother cat! And still quite intact. How should I handle a cat that randomly attacks me? Now I avoid him when he is overly aroused. He would bite me as hard as he could, and jump at me. We moved a few months ago and my cat is slowly getting used to being an indoor cat, it used to be an indoor/outdoor one. He was just 3 years old, I was well over halfway through my pregnancy and wondered if that had anything to do with it. He has always been a cool cat, in high school and throughout my adult life. I mainly experience “active” colorism in the black community and beyond. I was perceived differently by colleagues and society at large because I was closer to “white”. I got a lot, much better than not in most cases. I was considered “less threatening” by white men and women than my dark-skinned friends.
